Bows, little hands, and full hearts

On a glorious Palm Sunday, a brand new baby girl was born! I am so grateful I was able to capture these precious moments for the Hubbard family. There was a little over a month's time from shooting Lydia's maternity photos to this newborn session. I suppose walking through sandy hills could be as beneficial as curb walking! Ha ha. I wonder if anyone else has gone through the same.

Yesterday, we celebrated Memorial Day. Where we remember and honor the fallen soldiers for their brave and courageous hearts. I saw this Bible verse on social media that I really loved,

"There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends." John 15:13 NLT

To me, that summarizes the importance of the men and women that have fought for our country and died in service. Bravery, courage, dedication, and the hard-work ethic had brought them to the point of working hard for our country so we may live freely, and with that, we remember that freedom isn't free. Surely I love the bonfires, burgers, and spending my time off of work outside but I will be quick to realize how blessed we truly are to live in this safe county.

I am proud to be in this country, but I surely know that it all comes with a cost. And I'd say we should always give thanks and count our blessings. Like the tiny little hands and feet that the good Lord blesses us with. :)
