Deceiving Sunshine

What wonderful news a new precious child is. I seriously can't wait to see Lydia enter motherhood. I am so biased, but Luke and Lydia will be great parents! Knowing these two since high school is bizarre because I would never had guessed they would have gotten hitched. Well here we are, and I can't say enough about the ways God has worked in them. These two are hardworking, caring, and have a strong heart for the Lord. You can really see it in their home and marriage! Her and I have a great friendship that truly refreshes my soul, and for that I am so thankful. As we get closer to her due date, (in a few days, eek!!) It's such a warm feeling to know their baby girl will be a new generation in the the Kingdom!

This photoshoot was soooo much fun. Like actually, look at all the laughing pictures we got.

Despite the blaring sun, the wind, and the real feel of mid 20s, they were such good sports! I can't tell you how many pictures I took of Luke blinking. At least you can't hear him saying, "All your life, you just never can get away from pictures." through the images. No he was good, but I just can't understand what it is with husbands not wanting to cooperate! Haha.

Lydia requested sunset photos, and we really underestimated how long it would take for the sun to go down. We started with the pier because had awhile yet before sunset. I used to shy away from shooting in direct sunlight but after lots of practice, I'll never pass on the opportunity to use the extraordinary character the sun gives photos that shade just can't do.

After that, we rushed to the lakeshore as the sun was setting. Oh the humorous memories of trying to find a open restroom for this pregnant lady as the sky was reaching its peak colors. However, she was a champ hustling through sand! That wears me out so I can't imagine how it was with a big ol' belly! Overall, I am so happy with how these came out and enjoyed our time capturing them. I truly can't wait to meet this little baby.
