Fall Colors

I had the privilege to take these family photos this past fall. Kate is my sweet co-worker so it was great to connect further! The color on the trees were gorgeous. Every year, it amazes me how intricate patterns the trees can make. As cliche as it is, change is a beautiful thing.

The weather in fall is so unpredictable, you either get the wind & rain, or a nice sunny day that's semi-warm. Luckily we got the better option for this shoot! My husband and I got married in the beginning of October in 2022. People thought we were crazy for having an outdoor reception and ceremony! We had a live piano player, all of the food was planning to sit out, and we used golf carts for the main transportation. We were absolutely unprepared for rain. But thank goodness, we had the most beautiful day. The sun peaked down just as I was walking down the aisle - a core memory I'll never forget. The weather in this photoshoot echoed the weather on our wedding day! Sunny, 70s, and just a tiny bit of clouds. Because of our wedding and the appreciation of cozy days, October will forever be special to me. :)
